Send Money Securely
Quickly pay the babysitter, pay your rent, split the bill with friends, or send money when the kids are away at college by using Pay-A-Person from GNB. Simply use our mobile app or a computer to send money to anyone. It’s fast, easy and secure! Just enroll in GNB’s Online Banking and Bill Pay, and enter the receiving person’s email address or cell phone number.
What to Know
- It's FREE
- Money will be in person's account within 1-2 business days (not including weekends and holidays)
- Email or text confirmations when money is sent and received
- Once you have a person setup, they will always be there for quick access
- Create and provide your own keyword to the person you are paying.
How to get started using the Mobile App
- Log in to the GNB mobile app
- Go to the menu and select Payments or click on the Pay a Bill icon
- Select "+" to Add a Payee
- Select Person
- Choose to send money by text, email, direct deposit or check
- Enter the person's name, phone number, email , and keyword, click Submit
- The person will receive an email/text and will have to input the Keyword. Then they will need to enter their account number and routing number.
How to get started using a computer
- Log in to your Online Banking account
- Select Payments from the menu on the left
- Select + Add New Payee, then Add a person
- Choose to send money by text, email, direct deposit or check
- Enter the person's name, phone number, email and keyword, click Submit
- The person will receive an email/text and will have to input the Keyword. Then they will need to enter their account number and routing number.
