Compliance Specialist, 
Full-Time and Part-Time Teller

COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST

Job Description Summary

The primary responsibility of the Compliance Specialist is to ensure the Bank is in full compliance with government regulations in areas concerning loans, deposits, BSA, and general safety and soundness.  Compliance includes disclosures, record keeping, and retention requirements.  The Compliance Specialist will report directly to the President.

Key Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Report on the state of the compliance environment at quarterly compliance committee meetings
  • Coordinate with the compliance committee and provide assistance to its members
  • Develop and maintain compliance policy and procedures
  • Monitor changes to Federal consumer regulations
  • Review forms and disclosures
  • Review advertisements and promotional materials
  • Serve as contact point and work with outside compliance consultants
  • Attend compliance training opportunities
  • Coordinate employee compliance training/education
  • Perform Real Estate Appraisal reviews (3-4 hours per week)
  • Assist marketing with gathering information on community development related loans and donations/charitable contributions
  • Annual analysis of geographic lending patterns and recommend changes to CRA assessment area as needed
  • Assist with maintaining CRA Public file
  • Perform additional duties as required

 Job Requirements, Competencies, and Skills

  • Proven work experience in compliance with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
  • Ability to learn legal concepts and perform research and analysis
  • Capable of self-direction, independent judgment and handling multiple priorities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software and internet research
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to handle confidential material to avoid disclosure of any such information

 


 
FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME TELLER

Key Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Greet and assist customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and open accounts accurately
  • Balance cash drawer daily and maintain proper cash limits
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or refer issues to supervisor as needed
  • Promote bank products and services that meet customer needs
  • Maintain knowledge of bank policies, procedures, and compliance regulations
  • Support other team members and assist with branch operations as needed

Job Requirements, Competencies, and Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Ability to work efficiently
  • Previous cash handling or customer service experience preferred but not required (banking experience a plus)
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with standard office technology

Experience 

Work experience in banking industry preferred but not required.

Hours

We are seeking reliable full-time and part-time tellers.
