Our Story

GNB is a full-service, independent, community bank with 11 locations (8 of those with ATMs). We have deposit and loan products with competitive rates for individuals and businesses, including agri-businesses.

We are hometown people serving hometown people. We are committed to the communities we serve. That commitment is at the forefront of all we do.  Even as we have grown, we have kept that commitment as we support businesses, schools, organizations and events in each and every community we serve.

President's Message

Welcome to GNB!

What is GNB you ask?  Well we have abbreviated our name to make correspondence easier.  Due to a new internet domain called .bank, we are able to change our internet address to bankgnb.bank.  We believe this will be easier and quicker for all users.  The .bank domain provides a higher level of security over the .com domain.  What we HAVE NOT abbreviated is our service to our customers and communities in which we live and work.

We hope you find our website valuable and easy to use.  We want to provide the same excellent service here as we do at our physical locations.  You should be able to find answers for all your financial needs throughout the site.  Please contact us at one of our locations or through the “Contact Us” section of this website if you have questions.  We can provide you with a personal touch on a one to one basis.  Our experienced staff can answer questions for your loan or deposit needs.  Our website contains a vast variety of tools to assist with your financial planning.  Whether you access your accounts electronically or in person, we think you will agree we are a very convenient option for you to fulfill your banking needs.

GNB is locally owned which translates into local decision making.  As a result, your requests are answered in a timely manner. You won’t find complex loan or deposit products at Greenville National Bank.  We believe exotic financial products are not in our customers’ interest for their best financial health. If you are concerned about the safety of this or any other financial institution, please access bank rating websites such as bankrate.com or bauerfinancial.com to see what the experts say about Greenville National Bank. These independent experts will show that we are a safe, secure, and sound source for your financial needs. We believe the best way for our bank to prosper is to make sure customers prosper from their relationship with us.

If you are already a customer, we promise to provide you with our continued excellent service and look forward to assisting with additional needs.  If you do not currently have a relationship with us, we look forward to you giving us the opportunity to show you the excellent assistance we can provide.    Please browse our website and feel free to visit us at any of our convenient locations located in Darke or Miami Counties in Ohio and Randolph County in Indiana.

Sincerely,
Kent A. James
